The Warehouse is proud to be part of the soft plastics recycling scheme. This scheme enables the public to bring their plastic bags, rice, bread, frozen food etc. bags back to our stores where they will be recycled. The recycled materials will then be made into outdoor furniture by a company called Replas.
Students from seven different Northland schools in June are going to be able to have the experience of a life time. The Warehouse’s Zoofari is going nocturnal. Students will get to stay the night at the zoo; their adventure will include a guided night walk, interactive education sessions, exploring other parts of the zoo and sleeping in the Elephants old house.
Women’s Refuge is one of our community partners and we have been working with them on a number of initiatives to help those who are experiencing family violence to get the help and support they need. We have launched a new shielded web portal on thewarehouse.co.nz, where people can find advice on how to safely address an abusive relationship.
